![]() ![]() Disturbing noise: sound parasites, crackling noise, screeching noise after a dead battery / disconnecting the battery / replacing the battery. If you don’t have a separate sound amplifier module, then the lack of sound is likely caused by the CCC iDrive. If these graphical anomalies appear at the same time as the CCC iDrive reboots, then the strange lines on the screen are most likely caused by a faulty CCC, not by a faulty display. You sometimes see graphical disturbances (horizontal and vertical lines) on the screen. The less common symptoms of a BMW CCC failure: The CCC console buttons lights remain always on.The iDrive sat nav does not eject the CD / DVD anymore when pressing the Eject button. The cooling fan of the CCC iDrive remains on, consequently draining the car battery. No navigation functions can be controlled from iDrive controller anymore. The CCC iDrive is completely non functional, as a result your screen remains black. The CCC head unit functions when the car is cold, but fails to work when the car is warm. The iDrive is fully functional on some days, but fails to boot successfully on other days, most likely when the weather is warmer. The CCC iDrive does not boot completely: when started, it remains stuck on the BMW logo.CCC iDrive reset: the CCC head unit reboots continuously, as a result your screen cycles between the BMW logo and a black screen. The most common symptoms of a BMW CCC failure: The other two were the Light Contingency Vehicle (LCV), which was an 8-10 ton vehicle as a joint DARPA-Army-Marine Corps ATD, and a third project using these technologies for an advanced turbine engine for a multi-role fighter. As such, the CAV-ATD served as the bridge between ‘Thrust 5’ and ‘Thrust 7’ as one of three vehicles in ‘Thrust 5’. ‘Thrust 5’ required an operational concept vehicle for a scouting lightweight vehicle assessing the tradeoffs for performance and production capabilities and cost. CAV was developed by the Army in its Thrust ‘Advanced Land Combat’ program. The Composite Armored Vehicle was to take the form of an Advanced Technology Demonstrator and was known as the CAV-ATD as a result. The CAV-ATD was to weigh the full 22 tons (19.96 tonnes) upon completion. The allowable weight range given under the funding contract was 17 – 22 tons (15.42 to 19.96 tonnes). To this end, in December 1993, a contract (DAAE07-94-C-R011) for an estimated US$54m was issued to the firm of United Defense to produce a lightweight high survivability light tank using composites in order to develop the technologies needed for wider adoption of composite materials for vehicles. So promising in fact that, in 1992, plans were drawn up to develop these ideas into a program for a new generation of composite armored vehicles. Tests with the M113 had shown marginal benefits, but the tests with the Bradley had been far more promising. ![]() The work in the early 1980s with the M113 and then in 1987 with the Bradley, had shown the potential of using composite materials to replace aluminum as the choice of hull armor. ![]() By the way, for anyone interested, you can backup those registry files, too, just right-click on the appropriate sub-folder in the directory to the left, then choose export, and save it as a reg-file. I just want to help anyone who’ll wonder in the future to avoid any confusion. No offense, these issues are really kind of irritating, know this from my own experience too well. And by the way, pcgamingwiki says the same.Īnd sorry, I seriously don’t want to sound as a know-it-all. Look into the registry (start it with the command ‘regedit’), and under HKEY_CURRENT_USER - SOFTWARE - Outright Games Ltd - Ice Age Scrat’s Nutty Adventure, you’ll see some entries that indicate that those are the save files. In these cases, save files are often stored in the registry (this is quite common for the Unity engine), and this applies here, too. I’ve actually seen this several times from other games. ![]() But in this case, when I look into ‘AppData - LocalLow - Outright Games Ltd - Ice Age Scrat’s Nutty Adventure’, there are only log- and analyzing files from Unity, no save data at all. ![]() Generally you’re right, many Unity games do indeed store their save files in the LocalLow folder, and a lot of your other games do, too. I know, super late answer, and also sorry for necroing this thread, but I think I have to correct this a bit for later readers. |
